Samsung's Galaxy Z TriFold Manual Just Leaked — Here's What's Inside

by · Android Headlines

Now that the Galaxy Z TriFold has been officially announced by Samsung, we’re starting to learn more and more about the device. Including the user manual, which Evleaks has just posted. This is a 174-page document that goes over a lot of the basics of the phone. Including things like how to turn the phone on and off, inserting your SIM card, using multi-window, etc.

Once you get into the Camera section on page 56, you can see the UI for the camera app. Which looks very similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 7 – which should surprise absolutely no one. But of course, there are quite thick black bars on either side, since this is a 10-inch tablet, essentially, when unfolded.

The Gallery app also mostly looks the same as it does on, say the Galaxy Tab S11, with a thicker side bar, and your pictures in the center. When viewing individual images, you’ll see the toolbar at the top, with other photos at the bottom.

Of course, the Galaxy Z TriFold does have Galaxy AI baked in, as expected.

This manual also shows where everything is

We can also see from this manual where the speakers are, as well as air vent holes, microphones and much more. Now, the diagram below does show a “headphone jack” don’t get too excited, it’s a USB-C port, not a 3.5mm headphone jack. That would likely not even fit in the Galaxy Z TriFold with how thin it is.

As we’ve seen already, from some early hands-on with the Galaxy Z TriFold, is that when you start to fold it the wrong way, the device will vibrate quite a bit. As there is only one way to fold this device, similar to the Huawei Mate XT that was announced last year. This is to help keep you from breaking your new device.
