Samsung Galaxy S25 FE May Get Ultra-Level Fast Charging
by Jean Leon · Android HeadlinesSamsung’s upcoming “affordable” mobile flash has been in the news a lot recently. The company is expected to launch it soon, so leaks are piling up. Recent reports have revealed some of the key improvements the device could bring, as well as its design. The latest piece of information claims the Galaxy S25 FE will also boast “Ultra-level” fast charging.
As many of you already know, Samsung phones are far from offering the fastest charging on the market. The company focuses primarily on battery longevity. The company’s “Ultra” handsets, like the latest Galaxy S25 Ultra, support a maximum of 45W of wired charging. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and even the S25 FE only reach 25W.
Galaxy S25 FE tipped to get 45W fast wired charging
The S25 FE will be the most affordable option in the lineup. That said, it could outperform all Galaxy S25 models—except the Ultra—in terms of fast charging. More specifically, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is said to boast a maximum charging power of 45W wired.
SammyGuru spotted the new charging speed in a TUV listing. Everything indicates that the next Galaxy S25 FE will offer serious upgrades in terms of charging speeds. This also reinforces rumors of improved charging speeds for the next-gen Galaxy S26 Ultra. After all, it would be very strange for Samsung’s next premium smartphone and the affordable previous-generation model to charge at the same speed, wouldn’t it?
Galaxy Tab S10 Lite also getting this new charging power
The leak also hints that the upcoming Galaxy Tab S10 Lite could share this 45W charging capability. Samsung might be expanding faster charging tech to more of its mid-range and affordable devices.
The Galaxy S25 FE offering 45W charging could make it an even more compelling choice for many. It suggests Samsung is serious about finally delivering faster charging speeds on its devices. Of course, as with all leaks, it’s wise to take this information with a grain of salt until Samsung makes an official announcement. However, the sources seem pretty reliable, so let’s keep our fingers crossed.
