OnePlus 15 Officially Launching on October 27, Global Debut Expected in November
by Kristijan Lucic · Android HeadlinesWe know when the OnePlus 15 will arrive. The company has announced the OnePlus 15’s launch date, and it’s October 27. Do note that this is the phone’s China launch date, so a launch date for its initial launch. The global launch will almost certainly occur on November 13, at least based on rumors.
The OnePlus 15 launch date has been officially confirmed
So, we’re 10 days away from the OnePlus 15’s launch, and the Ace 6 handset will arrive alongside it. That’s also something the company confirmed. We basically knew that the OnePlus 15 is coming in October, but until now, we didn’t know when exactly.
In regards to the global launch, it was expected to happen in January, as it did with the OnePlus 13, but OnePlus seemingly decided to change things up. Based on the latest reports, it will launch around two weeks after the Chinese version, which is great news.
OnePlus has already confirmed that the OnePlus 15 will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. That is Qualcomm’s latest and greatest chip. It will be paired with plenty of RAM (up to 16GB in a global version), and UFS 4.0 or 4.1 flash storage.
A 165Hz display will be included
With that being said, OnePlus also confirmed that the phone will feature a 165Hz display from BOE. That display will offer a 1.5K resolution and will use the latest display tech available. The bezels around the display will be very thin and uniform.
The phone itself will have a squarish camera island this time around, not a round one. It will sit in the top-left corner of the back side. The corners of the device will be rounded, while its frame will be flat all around.
A flat display will be used, with a centered display camera hole up to. On the right-hand side of the phone, you’ll find the power/lock and volume rocker buttons. On the left, you’ll find a customizable button that will replace the alert slider.
