Galaxy S26 Display Sizes Just Leaked—and the ‘Plus’ Model Is MIA

A Korean publication, the Elec, has just revealed what Samsung Galaxy S26 models are coming, and what will be their display sizes. As rumored, the Galaxy S26+ may not even arrive based on this information.

The Galaxy S26 model numbers and display sizes leak, one model is MIA

The source reports that three Galaxy S26 variants are coming, as was the case in previous years. However, Samsung will ditch the ‘+’ model. The Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra are allegedly on the way.

The vanilla Galaxy S26 will include a 6.27-inch display. The ‘Edge’ will ship with a 6.66-inch display, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a 6.89-inch panel. The information seems to be based on details revealed by Galaxy S26 parts that are being manufactured.

Samsung has been releasing the Galaxy S series ‘+’ model since 2017. That was the year the Galaxy S8 series launched. The Galaxy S8+ replaced the Galaxy S7 Edge that was a member of the series a year prior.

Samsung has announced a total of 9 Galaxy S ‘+’ models thus far

Since then, Samsung has provided a Galaxy S ‘+’ model every single year. That means that the company launched 8 Galaxy S ‘+’ models since 2017, not counting the Galaxy S8+ that arrived in 2017.

Well, if this rumor is true, we’re going back to the ‘Edge’ model. The Galaxy S26 Edge will seemingly replace the ‘+’. Just to be clear, Samsung did announce both the Samsung Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Edge this year, but the ‘Edge’ arrived later on, as sort of a side member of the series.

Next year, it could be a full-fledged member and arrive alongside the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Ultra in early 2026. If the company doesn’t drastically change its release cycle, those phones will arrive in January next year.
