OnePlus 15’s Battery Is an Absolute Beast — 7,300mAh Confirmed

OnePlus has confirmed the OnePlus 15’s battery capacity, and it’s… huge. The OnePlus 15 will the most battery capacity of any previous OnePlus smartphone, and it’s not even close.

The OnePlus 15 will feature a 7,300mAh battery, OnePlus China has confirmed. The company also confirmed that the device will support 120W wired and 50W wireless charging, as expected.

All of these details have been rumored before, but they’re official now. Do note that we’re not sure if the same battery capacity will translate to the global markets, we’ll have to wait and see. The global version will almost certainly use the same charging speeds, though.

The global version of the phone appeared on Geekbench

That’s not all, though. The global version of the OnePlus 15 has surfaced on Geekbench. It appeared on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, 12GB of RAM, and Android 16. Do note that a 16GB RAM variant will also be available, though, almost certainly.

The phone managed to score 3,615 points in the single-core, and 10,261 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench. That’s basically all the information that the listing revealed.

As if that’s not enough, the scratch resistance of the Absolute Black OnePlus 15 model has been demonstrated in a video clip. You can check that out below, just keep in mind the video is in Chinese.

The OnePlus 15 will become official on October 27. The company confirmed as much. Its global model is expected to launch on November 13, though that has not been confirmed just yet.

We also know that the phone will feature a 165Hz 1.5K display from BOE, and that it’s coming in three colors, at least to China. OnePlus has revealed those color options not long ago.
