Meta confirms WhatsApp status updates will soon be shareable on Instagram directly

This feature will be gradually rolled out worldwide over the coming months. Users are encouraged to keep their app updated and check settings for availability. Connecting to the Meta Accounts Centre will not compromise the platform's strong privacy standards.

Meta's single sign-on feature now supports WhatsApp as the app has joined Facebook, Instagram and Quest logins on the Accounts Center.
