EPL: Todd Boehly officially leaves Chelsea
by Ifreke Inyang · Daily PostTodd Boehly, Mark Walter, and Hansjorg Wyss have all sold their shares in Chelsea to Clearlake Capital.
Each of them had a 12.8% share, while Clearlake already owned 61.5%.
As it stands now, Clearlake, run by Behdad Eghbali and Jose E. Feliciano, has full control of the Premier League club.
Boehly will no longer be Chelsea chairman, a role he took on in 2022 when the group bought the club for £2.3 billion from Roman Abramovich.

“I have valued my partnership with Clearlake and the wider ownership group, and the collective decisions and investment we have made to support the immediate and long-term success of the club,” Bohely said.
“I am confident that Chelsea is well positioned for continued success under Clearlake’s leadership.”
