Amsterdam Centraal stabbing suspect identified after four injured
The suspect in the Saturday evening's stabbing at Amsterdam Centraal has been identified as a 43-year-old man from Naarden. Four people, including the suspect, were stabbed at around 19:30 p.m. and taken to a hospital. The suspect was then arrested. Some passerby at De Ruijterkade, at the back of the station, witnessed the incident, NU.nl reported.
The police have also confirmed that the altercation between the suspect and the others was indeed livestreamed on TikTok.
According to NU.nl, the livestream recording shows an escalating argument. First, the person filming yelled, "Do not touch," a couple of times. "I am not afraid of six or seven men," the person said. “They are all going to fall."
The footage then indeed reportedly shows someone falling and the person filming making stabbing motions towards them.
The police are still unsure about what led to the fight.
