Dhaka: Bangladesh has requested Interpol to issue a red notice against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and 11 others in connection with a case

According to reports, the request was submitted by the Bangladesh Police Headquarters amid an ongoing investigation into charges of inciting civil war and plotting to unseat the transitional administration

Bangladesh Police has requested an Interpol red notice against ex-PM Sheikh Hasina and 11 others over alleged conspiracy to topple the interim government. Hasina fled to India after her regime was overthrown in a student-led uprising.

Bangladesh Police have requested Interpol to issue a red corner notice for Sheikh Haseena and 11 others. The request comes more than 8 months after Haseena was ousted following student-led protests in Bangladesh. Bangladesh has also informally requested Haseena's extradition from India, though there is no official confirmation on this.
