According to Delhi Police, a violent altercation broke out between two groups inside the Saket court lock-up where three inmates were brought for a case hearing.

A man who was under trial was strangled by two prisoners inside the lock-up of the Saket District Court in Delhi over a past rivalry. The victim, Aman, was taken to the hospital but was declared dead.
