The power was restored at approximately 7:20 pm. on Wednesday. Daily Trust correspondent reports that residents of Jos, Plateau capital, erupted into jubilation when light was restored.

This was contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by the General Manager of Public Affairs of the TCN, Ndidi Mbah.

"Work will begin as soon as the site is secured for the safety of TCN’s personnel to the affected sections of the vandalised 330kV transmission line II."
